Job Description

Your main responsibilities as a Maintenance Scheduler (MetCal)

 

·        Performing maintenance, scheduling and planning activities in accordance with RSAF Quality Manual 4-7702 and other RSAF directives

 

·        Developing plans and establishes work schedules to meet mission requirements

 

·        Maintaining TMDE asset register and workload management systems to ensure effective control of calibration and repair activities

 

·        Determining workload priorities and estimated completion times

 

·        Coordinating with customers to optimize MetCal support

 

·        Conducting on the job training and provides instruction in maintenance management techniques

 

Your skills and qualifications as a Maintenance Scheduler (MetCal)

 

Essential

·        Will have completed formal training (civilian or military) for maintenance scheduling and/or planning within a modern technical environment

 

·        Will have at least five years practical experience functioning as a Maintenance Scheduler or Material Control Technician within a Technical environment

 

·        Ideally, will have experience of working in support of TMDE or in a similar organization handling delicate equipment

 

·        Will have extensive knowledge and experience of Management Information systems including data preparation and entry. A working knowledge of GOLDesp, Logistics and Supply Management system and material control processes would be advantageous

 

·        Shall have completed a formal training (civilian or military) for Maintenance Scheduling and or material Control within a modern Supply environment. Will be educated to High School level or as agreed by MetCal Wing Commander

 

·        Must possess a high level of English language skills and have the ability to adapt and learn new skills

 

·        Must be competent in I.T. usage and proficient in Microsoft Office software applications

 

·        A current and valid driving license is necessary

What we’re looking for in you

 

Relevant work experience in a Maintenance Scheduling environment with a background in using supply management information systems. Robust attention to detail, maintain detailed records, personal intrigrity, good communication skills with the ability to present  reports in a written and verbal format effectively in a courteous and professional manner. Good team work skill with the ability to self task and work unsupervised when necessary. Must be proficient with I.T. and be able to use Microsoft Office software applications to a competent level.
